(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect her life and liberty as she apprehends threat to the same at the hands of respondent No.4. Learned State counsel, upon whom an advance copy of the petition have been served has submitted that he has instructions from ASI Pappu Ram to the effect that statements of the petitioner and also of Harpreet Singh with whom the petitioner is presently residing in live-in relationship have been recorded who have both stated that as of now they do not apprehend any kind of threat to their life and liberty. A photocopy of the said statements has been furnished by learned State counsel which is taken on record.
