(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a direction to respondents No.2 to 4 for protecting the life and property of the petitioner as well as of other members of his family. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali (respondent No.3) to examine the threat perception as is alleged in representation dated 23.11.2020 (Annexure P-5). A copy of this order along with copy of representation dated 23.11.2020 (Annexure P-5) be sent to Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali (respondent No.3) so as to enable him to do the needful at the earliest.
