By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have sought issuance of a writ of mandamus for a direction to the respondents to grant the benefit of full pension after rendering minimum qualifying service of 25 years to the petitioners as granted to their counterparts working in the Government Schools, in view of the instructions (Annexures P-7 and P-8) issued by the Government from time to time along with interest @ 9% per annum.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners feel satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents to decide the representation dated 22.12.2017 (Annexure P-10), within a stipulated period. 3.

However, in case, the petitioners still feel aggrieved against any or the order passed by the concerned authority, they shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available to them as well as to approach this Court.
