JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL -.- AMIT RAWAL J.(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent-Deputy Commissioner to take appropriate action on the representation dated 28.09.2016 (Annexure P-6) to issue/amend the legal heir certificate in view of the facts detailed therein, within a stipulated period.

Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent-Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar to take appropriate action on the representation dated 28.09.2016 (Annexure P-6) within a period one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and shall pass a speaking order thereon.
