(ORAL) This is a petition filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971, read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India, against the respondents for willful disobedience and defiance of the order dated 25.05.2017 (Annexure P-1) passed by the Division Bench of this Court in CM-12279-802016 in CWP-6766-2006. It is even not in dispute that the Division Bench has extended time for furnishing the security, pursuant to the order dated 09.05.2023. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner-Gram Panchayat submits that the petitioner be permitted to withdraw the present petition. Dismissed as withdrawn, as prayed for.
