Seeking direction to the respondents to carry out investigation expeditiously and for taking appropriate action against the accused, the complainant-petitioner has come up before this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved by the sloth speed of the Investigation. He further submits that he would be contented and satisfied if the investigation is ordered to be expedited and that too in a time bound manner. 3.

This Court had asked State to get instructions and State counsel submits that the instructions are not complete, however, they are ready to conclude the investigation within four months.

Given above, the present petition is disposed of directing the investigating officer to make all efforts to complete the investigation latest by 31.12.2024. However, liberty reserved to the petitioner to come up to this Court again in case the investigation is not completed within stipulated time frame. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
