RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Petitioners have approached this Court praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to execute the work for construction of Ambedkar Bhawan in village Kheri Khummar, Block and District Jhajjar, as per the work order issued by Executive Engineer, Panchayati Raj vide No.11437 dated 19.12.2022, Annexure P-4, and for issuance of further direction to respondent No.4 not to interfere in the execution of work and construction of Ambedkar Bhawan on the land measuring 500 sq yard near Government Hospital of the village. It is further requested to issue directions to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioners, dated 27.06.2023, Annexure P-6, within a time bound manner.

It has been contended by counsel for the petitioners that for construction of Ambedkar Bhawan in the village, the sanction was already granted on 19.12.2022, however, after change of Panchayat, the construction of the same has been stopped by the present Panchayat. He submits that the MEENU 2023.08.29 17:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CWP-18939-2023 -2petitioners have filed representation before respondent No.2 on 27.06.2023 however, no action has been taken on the same till date. Notice of motion to official respondents only at this stage. On asking of the Court, Ms.Upasana Dhawan, AAG, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State. After hearing counsel for the parties and going through the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. Deputy Commissioner, District Jhajjar, to decide the representation, dated 27.06.2023, Annexure P-6, expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
