Statement of Priyanka daughter of the petitioner recorded by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Karnal has been received through sealed cover. The sealed cover has been opened in the Court. In her statement, Priyanka has stated before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Karnal on 22.1.2021 that she is not ready to go with her father Sukhbir and rather she showed her willingness to go with one Nand Lal. Accordingly, this petition is hereby dismissed as withdrawn with aforesaid liberty.

As per the birth certificate (Annexure P-2) issued by Deputy Civil Surgeon-cum-Additional District Registrar (Birth & Death), Hisar, the date of birth of Priyanka is 15.3.2003. Presently she is lodged in Nari Niketan, Karnal and she can be kept in the said protection home only till the time she is less than 18 years of age.
