HARI PAL VERMA , J. (ORAL ) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for the grant of regular bail in case FIR No.126 dated 11.11.2018, under Sections 363, 366-A, 376 and 342 of the IPC and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, registered at Police Station Julkan, District Patiala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is in custody since 11.11.2018 and the trial is not likely to be concluded in near future.

CRM-M-37934-2019 Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Surinder Singh, states out of 24 witnesses cited by the prosecution 15 witnesses have already been examined and now the case is fixed before the trial Court for today itself and certain other witnesses must have been examined in the meanwhile. He further states that the victim in the present case is a girl of 15 years and 3 months of age.

Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

The trial being at advance stage and the victim being a girl of 15 years and 3 months of age, this Court finds no ground to grant the concession of regular bail to the petitioner. The petition is dismissed.
