 % Avneet Singh, aged 52 years employed as Executive Director with M/s Munchur Machines Private Limited lost his life in a vehicular accident, which occurred on 25.9.2010 in the area of Police Station Shahabad, District Kurukshetra. His legal heirs; widow, two daughters and a minor son (now major) filed claim petition before MACT, Kurukshetra claiming compensation to the tune of Rs.90,00,000/ . The Tribunal after appreciating the evidence produced before it, awarded compensation of Rs.1,15,99,000/ to the claimants along with interest @ 7.5% per annum, payable by the respondents jointly and severally. The claimants have filed the instant appeal for enhancement of compensation.

A perusal of the impugned Award reveals that the Tribunal has considered all the aspects while assessing the income of the deceased, including 15% increase in the income considering future prospects and assessed the compensation in the light of several judgments of the Hon'ble



 Supreme Court. I don't find any scope for enhancement in the compensation awarded.

Hence, appeal is dismissed.
