M.M.S. BEDI, J. (ORAL) This is a writ petition for a direction to respondent No.2, to decide legal notice dated 29.1.2017, Annexure P7, for the grant of permit for operation of light motor vehicle on Phase VI Mohali to Zirakpur via Bus Stand, Mohali, Jagatpura route.

The petitioner claims that as per observations made in CWP No.15786 of 1999 titled M/s Vijayant Travels and another Vs State of Punjab, decided on 20.12.2012, a right is accrued to him. Without expression of any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice, Annexure P7, dated 29.1.2017, within a period of two months by passing a speaking order.
