The petitioner seeks issuance of direction to the official respondents to protect his life and liberty as he apprehends threat to the same at the hands of respondents No.4 to 11, who allegedly had attacked the petitioner on 16.7.2024 and had caused serious injuries to him. 2.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, District SAS Nagar (Mohali) Punjab to look into the matter and to get the representation dated 1.8.2024 (Annexure P-3) examined qua the alleged threat perception of the petitioner.
