***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ particularly in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent to pay correct monthly pension after properly fixing pay of the petitioner after grant of 18 years due second proficiency step up and promotional and retiral benefits with arrears of pay and pension upto date and revised pensionary benefits with interest @ 18% till actual payment thereof.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents to decide legal notice dated 17.08.2017 and subsequent representations, within a stipulated period.

CWP No.3810 OF 2018 --2-- instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondents to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in legal notice dated 17.08.2017 and subsequent representations (Annexures P-11 and P-12) and to take a conscious decision, in accordance with law, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available to him as well as to approach this Court.
