The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 439 Cr.P.C for grant of bail pending trial in case FIR No.127 dated 22.08.2018 registered under Section 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Sadar Nabah, District Patiala. 2.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the respondent-State that out of total 28 prosecution witnesses, 21 witnesses have already been examined by the prosecution. The next date fixed before the trial Court is 05.10.2023 and the remaining witnesses have also been summoned for the said date. The prosecution would make sincere efforts to complete the evidence on the next date, or maximum, on one more date thereafter. 3.
