***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL , J . (Oral) Today, at the very outset, the learned counsel for the appellant submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present appeal with liberty to file an application seeking grant of bail before the Court of Sessions concerned.

In view of the aforesaid request, the present appeal is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.

Needless to mention, in case any such application is filed before the Court of Sessions, the same shall be decided expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within a period of 2 weeks from filing of such application.
