The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking directions to respondent No.2-The Presiding Officer, Central Government Industrial Tribunalcum-Labour Court No.II to decide Industrial Dispute No.29 of 2010 in a time bound manner.

The petitioner claims that he filed industrial dispute before Central Government Industrial Tribunal in 2010. The said dispute is still pending for adjudication. On the earlier occasion, he preferred CWP No.11577 of 2020 which was disposed of vide order dated 24.08.2020 with an observation that the post of Presiding Officer, Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court No.1 has not yet been filled up, thus, the Presiding Officer, Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court No.II would consider the case of petitioner. The case of petitioner was assigned to Labour Court No.II which is Anju Goel 2024.08.13 18:05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

This Court is not oblivious of the fact that the Labour Court is already burdened with pending cases, nevertheless, request the Presiding Officer, Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court No.II, Chandigarh to expedite disposal of case of the petitioner as his case is pending since 2010.
