This appeal has been filed by the claimant/appellant-Parmod Kumar seeking enhancement of compensation of Rs.1,12,500/- awarded by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Narnaul vide Award dated 1.2.2016 passed in MACT No.57/2015 u/s 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the appellant/claimant has suffered only 5% temporary disability and in view of this fact only Rs.50,000/- more may be granted as compensation to the appellant, over and above what has already been awarded by the learned Tribunal.
