Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 482 of the B.N.S.S., 2023, the petitioner seeks the concession of anticipatory bail, in FIR No.99 dated 15.05.2024, under Sections 465/467/468/471/ 420/120-B of the IPC, registered at P.S. Sadar Jalandhar, District Police Commissionerate Jalandhar.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, a number of FIRs have been registered against the petitioner, on the basis of complaint(s) made by AGI Infra Private Limited, Jalandhar and others. Therefore, the petitioner applied for grant of anticipatory bail in those FIRs, whereupon, he was granted the concession of anticipatory bail in some of those FIRs and when the petitioner went to join investigation in one of those FIRs, he was arrested by the police in a different case. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, since the petitioner has already been arrested, therefore, if the police requires him for interrogation in some other case(s), they shall not wait for his release on bail, rather shall obtain his production warrants and join him investigation.

At this stage, the learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice, informs this Court, on instructions imparted to him by A.S.I. Vipin Kumar, that the petitioner is required for interrogation in the present case also, therefore, they will immediately make an application for obtaining production warrants of the petitioner in the present case and will thereafter, conduct interrogation without awaiting his release on bail in the case, wherein, he has already been arrested. 5.

The instant petition is disposed of, in view of the submissions made by the learned State counsel.
