***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a direction to respondent No.3-Superintendent of Police, Ambala to conclude inquiry/investigation pending before it with regard to grant of 3 weeks furlough to the petitioner.

Mr. Rajiv Sidhu, DAG, Haryana representing the respondentState, upon whom an advance copy of petition had already been served, has submitted that respondent No.3-Superintendent of Police, Ambala had conducted an inquiry and report had been submitted to respondent No.2District Magistrate, Ambala, District Ambala but upon certain objections having been raised, respondent No.2 has again send the matter back to respondent No.3.

( 2 ) CRWP-8990-2022 (O&M) Learned State counsel has submitted that respondent No.3 shall endeavour to conclude the inquiry pending before him pertaining to grant of furlough to the petitioner within a period of 10 days from today. In view of the aforestated position, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction that the matter be finally decided by the authorities concerned expeditiously preferably within a period of 1 month from today.
