***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion as Senior Assistant from 14.08.1992 as his juniors have already been given the promotion as Senior Assistant with consequential benefits. As well as to sent the revised pension case of petitioner to A.G. Punjab Chandigarh or to decide representation (Annexure P-3).

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent to decide representation dated 18.11.2017 (Annexure P-3), within a stipulated period. 3.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available to him as well as to approach this Court.
