The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.22 dated 27.01.2023 registered under Section 21(b) of the NDPS Act (Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on), at Police Station Phillour, District Jalandhar.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the trial Court and prays that her bail application be ordered to be decided in a time bound manner.

In view of the prayer made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial Court that in case the petitioner surrenders on or before 04.09.2023 and files an application for grant of bail, the trial Court is requested to decide the same expeditiously, in accordance with law.
