   The present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondents No.4 to 10.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that respondents No.4 to 10, in connivance with each other, had got falsely implicated brother of the petitioner in FIR No.166 dated 22.06.2020, under Sections 363 and 366-A IPC, registered at Police Station Sardulgarh, District Mansa. He further contends that respondents No.4 to 10 are now pressurizing the petitioner to pay Rs.5 lakh, otherwise he and his other family members would also be involved in the above-noted FIR. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Deep Singh, submits that in the above-noted FIR, challan has been presented and even the charges have also been framed.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner wants to withdraw the present petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
