**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.3 to grant regular timings to the petitioner to operate his route permit on the route Jagraon to Bilaspur via Kaunke and Chakkar.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Navdeep Chhabra, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits on instructions from Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Brar, RTA, Ferozepur that 80% of the route falls under the jurisdiction of RTA, Patiala and the said authority has not been impleaded in the present case. Only 20% of the aforesaid route falls under RTA, Ferozepur.

CWP No. 21226 of 2022 -2Petitioner has already impleaded State Transport Commissioner, Punjab exercising the powers of RTA, Patiala as respondent No.2.

In view of aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.2 to decide the claim of the petitioner within two weeks from today after hearing the petitioner in person.
