**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.3 to grant regular timings to the petitioner in order to operate its route permit which was issued on 23.06.2022.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was issued a route permit in respect of a route from Gidderbaha to Amritsar via Bhaliana, Malan, Ramiana, Harinau, Kotkapura, Faridkot, Zira and Makhu. Due to non-finalization of regular timings, the petitioner is not in a position to operate its vehicle on the route so granted to the petitioner. Precisely, for the grievance in question, the legal JYOTI SHARMA 2022.10.17 17.37 I attest to the authenticity and integrity of this order/judgment
CWP No. 22422 of 2022 -2notice of the petitioner dated 20.08.2022 is still pending before the respondent No.3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case its legal notice dated 20.08.2022 is directed to be decided by the competent authority/ respondent No.3 by passing a speaking order in accordance with law at the earliest.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. R.S. Pandher, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of nature of prayer made by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to take note of pending legal notice got issued by the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
