The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is seeking directions to the respondents to release pension and retiral benefits along with interest. 2.

The petitioner vide order dated 23.05.2001 was removed from service, however, the removal was with superannuation benefits without disqualification from future employment. The petitioner was paid GPF and gratuity, however, he was not extended benefits of pension and leave encashment. The petitioner is further seeking directions to the respondents to grant pension and leave encashment.

Affidavit of Chief Manager dated 22.09.2023 filed by learned counsel for respondent No.1 is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag the same at appropriate place.

Learned counsel for respondent No.1-bank, pointing out the affidavit, submits that respondent-bank has sent requisite form to the petitioner, however, he is not coming forward. 6.

Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that tomorrow i.e. 26.09.2023, the petitioner would appear before the Chief Manager and complete all the required formalities. 7.

In the wake of statements of both sides, the petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail remedies as permissible by law, if the grievance of the petitioner including interest is not redressed.
