In the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the notice of retirement dated 20.06.2022 (Annexure P-8) passed by respondent No.4, vide which, the petitioner was ordered to be compulsory retired from service on attaining the age of 55 years. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that vide order dated 23.09.2022, this Court had permitted the petitioner to continue in service. He submits that in terms of the abovesaid order, the petitioner had continued in service and has attained the age of superannuation. Learned counsel submits that in light of the abovesaid facts, the present writ petition has rendered infructuous and as such, the same may be disposed of.
