The prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to entrust the investigations arising out of FIR No.224 dated 13.08.2022 (Annexure P-1) registered under Section 306 of IPC at Police Station Sadar, District Amritsar to an independent agency.

The learned State counsel, at the very outset, submits that the report under Section 173(2) of Cr.P.C (Section 193 of BNSS) shall be presented within a period of 04 weeks.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
