**** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (ORAL) The prayer in the present petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. (483 of BNSS, 2023) for grant of interim regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.43 dated 07.02.2022 registered under Sections 302, 201 & 34 of IPC (Sections 103, 238, 3(5) of BNS, 2023) at Police Station Bhuna, District Fatehabad, Haryana, to enable him to attend the Rasam Pagri ceremony of his deceased mother on 03.07.2026. The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the mother of the petitioner has passed away on 22.06.2026 and that the petitioner be granted interim bail to attend the Rasam Pagri ceremony of his deceased mother on 03.07.2026.

The learned State counsel does not dispute the aforesaid fact and fairly concedes that the petitioner's mother passed away on 22.06.2026.

CRM-M-34984-2026 -2Looking at the antecedents of the petitioner, I do not deem it appropriate to grant interim bail to the petitioner. However, in view of the fact that the mother of the petitioner has passed away on 22.06.2026, the Jail Superintendent concerned is directed to send the petitioner/Gourav Kumar @ Goru in custody to his village between 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. from 03.07.2026 to 07.07.2026. The expenses incurred for the aforesaid purpose shall be borne by the petitioner. The present petition stands disposed of.
