***** AMAN CHAUDHARY, J. (ORAL) 1.
Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 483 BNSS is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.31 dated 15.04.2023, registered under Sections 302, 506, 148 and 149 IPC (Section 201 IPC added later on) at Police Station Maloud, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana. 2.

Out of 15 prosecution witnesses, none has been examined. There is no case pending against the petitioner.

The custody certificate along with short reply dated 15.09.2025, filed by the learned State counsel are taken on record. As per the same, the petitioner is behind bars for 2 years, 4 months and 26 days. 4.
Learned State counsel opposes the bail on the ground that the
CRM-M-36076-2025 (O&M) 2 petitioner had actively participated in the commission of offence. However, he is unable to controvert the submissions with regard to stage of the case and the petitioner not being involved in any other case. 5.
