(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a direction to respondents No.1 to 3 for conducting fair and proper investigation in matter pertaining to FIR No.497, dated 22.11.2019, Police Station Udyog Vihar, Gurugram, under Sections 34, 354-D, 506 IPC, as respondents No.5 and 6 have been threatening and compelling the petitioner to compromise the matter. A prayer for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner has also been made therein.

The learned State counsel has informed that infact investigation has already been concluded and challan has been presented against the accused.
In view of the aforestated position, no direction is required to be issued as regards the investigation of the matter. However, as far as the apprehension of the petitioner as regards threat to her life and liberty is concerned, it shall be open to the petitioner to move an appropriate application to respondent No.3-DCP, HQ, Gurgaon, in this regard. In case, any such application is moved, respondent No.3-DCP, HQ, Gurgaon, to get the same examined in accordance with law. In case it is found that there is any genuine threat perception, then all the steps necessary in accordance with law shall be taken thereupon at the earliest. The petition stands disposed off accordingly.
