The substantive prayer made in the petition reads thus: 'The petitioner is seeking indulgence of this Hon'ble court to taken into consideration the following prayers:
a) Issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for directing the respondents Nos. 2&3, to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members from the hands of respondent No. 4 to 8 and direct them not to harass the petitioner and his family members unnecessarily with regard to FIR no. 148 dated 14.06.2025 under sections 262, 115(2) of BNS Act, 2023 registered at Police Station City 1. b) Further directing the official Respondents, especially Respondent No. 4 to 8, not to harass and humiliate the petitioner and her family members by calling them to the Police Station and raiding their house without any justified reason and without complying with the mandatory provisions of section 179 B.N.S.S (earlier 160 Cr. P.C.).
c) For issuance of directions to Respondent No.2 & 3 to take action on the Representation dated 08.07.2025 (Annexure P-5) submitted by the Petitioner and to decide it expeditiously in accordance with law. d) filing of certified copies of the annexures may kindly be exempted. Reply by way of affidavit of Gagan Ajit Singh (PPS), SSP, District Malerkotla has been filed, relevant whereof reads thus: '6. That the petitioner Jameela, Mohd. Asgar and Mohd. Kasim were joined in the inquiry regarding present writ petition and the petitioner Jameela, Mohd. Asgar and Mohd. Kasim got recorded their statement on dated 19-07-2025 before DSP, Malerkotla, that they have filed the present writ petition No. CRWP-7292-2025 for the protection of life and liberty against SHO City 1 Malerkotla, inspector Harsimranjit Incharge CIA Mahorana, Constable Gurteg Singh CIA Mahoran and constable Mohd. Ali PS City 1 Malerkotla.
The petitioners stated that the present petition filed due to misunderstanding, we engaged counsel only to move the application against the above mentioned individuals but the advocate counsel filed the writ petition on behalf of us. We do not have any kind of fear or threat to our life and neither needs any kind of protection. Hence, we do not want any kind of action on the present writ petition filed by us. We have no objection if the present writ petition is consigned. The above mentioned petitioner got recorded their statement in this regard and also produced their affidavits dated 19-07-2025. Copy of statement is annexed as Annexure R-1.'

In view of the above, no further orders are called for in the petition in hand.
