This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for ordering independent probe regarding registration of FIR No.119 dated 12.06.2022 (Annexure P-2), under Sections 323, 324, 506, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Kharar, District SAS Nagar, against the petitioner with further prayer that appropriate action be taken against Lakhvir Singh son of Gulzar and his son Shingara Singh, both residents of Village Sahauran, Tehsil Kharar, District SAS Nagar and erring police officials in accordance with law.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that let this petition be disposed of only with a direction to respondent No.3 - Senior Superintendent of Police, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) to consider and MONIKA 2022.09.23 14:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M No.43997 of 2022 decide the representation dated 29.08.2022 (Annexure P-5) alleged to have been submitted by the petitioners seeking inquiry/independent probe regarding registration of FIR No.119 dated 12.06.2022 against the petitioners, under Sections 323, 324, 506, 34 IPC, registered at Police Station Kharar, District S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali). Accordingly, without commenting upon the merits of the claim of the petitioners and even the assertions set out in the petition, the present petition is disposed of only with a direction to respondent No.3 that if any such representation, as indicated above, is indeed pending consideration, it shall be dealt with expeditiously, in accordance with law by passing a speaking order, preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and conveying the same to the petitioners.
