***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J. (Oral) Today, at the very outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh in case there is inordinate delay in conclusion of trial. In view of the aforesaid submission, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. Since the petitioner has been behind bars since the last about 6 months and co-accused already stands convicted, the prosecution is directed to ensure the presence of PWs on the dates as may be fixed for recording their statements. The Trial Court shall also take necessary steps for expediting conclusion of trial.
