(ORAL) Counsel appearing for the State of Punjab submits that given the direction of Hon'ble Supreme Court to expedite the trial, the present bail petition technically renders infrucutous. He further submits that around more than 100 witnesses are yet to be examined and it depends whether all are necessary or not it would be satisfaction of the concerned PP.

Be that as it may, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and the State is directed to ensure that all official witnesses appear on the dates for which they are summoned.

Given above, the present petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations. It is clarified that parties shall not seek any adjournment. It is further clarified that the matter will be taken up in pre lunch sessions. Parties are directed to bring this order to the notice of trial Court without any delay.
