ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in complaint case No. COMA/11/2020 dated 03.03.2020 titled as "State through Drug Inspector v. Sunil Kumar and others" under Section 18(a)(i), 17-B and 27 (C) of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barnala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to earlier order dated 22.08.2023 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State counsel, per his instructions from ASI Rashpal Singh, submits that petitioner has joined investigation and in view of cooperation rendered by him, no custodial interrogation of petitioner is required. 4.

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of petitioner is no more required and he has already joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, present petition is allowed. Order dated 22.08.2023 is made absolute, subject to petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
