AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Learned counsel for the appellants has informed that the Objecting Court has no jurisdiction as the award was passed by the Arbitrator situated in Mumbai, whereas, the objections have been filed at Jalandhar. The objections could not have been filed at Jalandhar but before the Principal Court at Mumbai, having the territorial jurisdiction. The aforementioned view has been reiterated by this Court, vide judgment dated 17.03.2016 rendered in FAO No.3328 of 2014 titled as Manjit Singh Bedi vs. M/s L & T Finance Ltd. and others. Accordingly, the present appeal is disposed of, in terms of judgment dated 17.03.2016 passed in FAO No.3328 of 2014 titled as Manjit Singh Bedi vs. M/s L & T Finance Ltd. and others. The appellant shall be at liberty to file objections before the competent Court of jurisdiction.
