In the present petition, the petitioner has challenged the action of the respondents in retiring him on attaining the age of 58 years on 30.06.2022. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was suffering from permanent disability and as per the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, he was entitled to be retained in service till the age of 60 years.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide legal notice dated 29.04.2025 (Annexure P-29) served by the petitioner, in a time bound manner. 4.
