DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) Status report by way of affidavit of Shri Babandeep Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Sultanpur Lodhi, District Kapurthala, has been filed on behalf of respondent-State. Learned State counsel has pointed out that petitioner is involved in five more cases, as per the details in para 6 of the status report, out of which two cases pertains to NDPS Act. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner has made a statement, so as to withdraw this petition. In view of the aforesaid statement, present petition is dismissed as withdrawn, as prayed for.
