The present contempt petition has been filed under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful violation of the order dated 29.04.2025 passed by this Court in CRM-M-24998-2024. The operative part of the order dated 29.04.2025 reads as under :
'In view of the submissions made above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Agency to conclude the investigation within a period of one month from today as undertaken before this Court, in accordance with law. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to pursue his remedy in case any further cause of action accrues to him.'

An affidavit has been filed of Manjeet Singh, IPS, Superintendent of Police, EOW, Police Headquarter, Sector-9, Chandigarh wherein it has been stated that the investigation in the matter has been completed by the Investigating Officer on 18.07.2025 and the final report under Section 173 CrPC has been filed in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate concerned on 04.08.2025.
