(ORAL) This is a crl. writ petition that has been filed for issuance of direction to the respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioners herein at the hands of respondents No.4 and 5. Reply has been on behalf of the respondent-State and in per paras No.2 and 3 of the same it has been categorically stated that the police visited to the house of petitioners whereby they were not found present, however, statements of respondents No.4 and 5 were recorded by the police during enquiry in which they stated that they will not cause any harm to the petitioners and the local police is ready to provide protection to the petitioners as and when they desired.

In view of the reply submitted by the respondent-State, no further orders are called for. The crl. writ petition is disposed of. However, in case there is any threat perception to the petitioners, they will be at liberty to approach this Court in accordance with law.
