(Oral) Instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her minor son from the hands of respondent No.4 and his associates.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed a representation dated 03.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) before respondent No.2 raising her grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereupon. He further submitted that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied if, appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.2, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation/complaint filed by the petitioner and take necessary action thereupon.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that if any representation has been submitted by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and decided by the competent authority in accordance with law. He assures that appropriate steps, if required, shall also be taken to ensure the protection of the life and liberty of the petitioner and her minor son. 4.
In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner and without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 03.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) of the petitioner expeditiously, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law. 5.
Needless to say, if any threat is found to the petitioner, the official respondents would provide her adequate security in order to protect her life and liberty.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
