In the present petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the Honorarium to the petitioner being SC Lambardar working since the year 2016 upto till date, which has not been released to him since 01.01.2018 and further to take action on applications dated 29.01.2024 (Annexure P-1) and dated 06.03.2024 (Annexure P-2) submitted by the petitioner. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide application/representation dated 06.03.2024 (Annexure P-2) submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner. In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the application/representation dated 06.03.2024 (Annexure P-2), within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law. In event, the petitioner is held entitled for grant of relief as per the law as claimed in the application/representation dated 06.03.2024 (Annexure P-2), the same be also released within a period of 02 weeks thereafter.
