(ORAL) Petitioner is before this Court inter alia seeking quashing/modification of impugned result dated 17.05.2021 (Annexure P-9) and to offer him appointment to the post of Clerkon a vacant seat in BC-B category,as per advertisement No.5/2019 dated 20.06.2019 (Annexure P-1). 2.

On advance service of copy of the petition, learned State counsel joins the proceedings and submits that petition has been filed on a complete misunderstanding that cut-off for the written examination is 61 marks, whereas the same is actually 62 marks. She further argues that the petitioner has since scored lessor marks than 62 in the written examination, therefore, he is not entitled to appointment to be considered the post of Clerk. 3.

Since result of the written examination is not under challenge before this Court, on that short ground alone, the writ petition is dismissed. However, in case any candidate having secured less than 61 marks in the SHALINI BHATIA 2021.11.12 10:27 I attest to the accuracy of this order.
