*** Ritu Bahri, J. (Oral) Petitioner is seeking issuance of direction to the respondents to release all the service/retiral benefits as per effective pay scale/grades qua leave encashment and gratuity to him along with interest. In this regard, petitioner has given legal notice dated 31.10.2020 (P-7) but no action has been taken till date. Issue notice of motion.

On asking of the Court, Ms. Monica Chhibbar, Sr. D.A.G, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of by giving direction to respondents to pass speaking order on legal notice dated 31.10.2020 (P-7) within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and if the petitioner is found entitled, the necessary payment be released to him immediately.
