(ORAL) Through this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India petitioners have prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioners illegally at the behest of respondents No.4 to 13 as the petitioners have performed marriage with their own will against the wishes of private respondents.

It is pertinent to mention here that petitioner No.1 has converted from Muslim to Sikh religion.
