(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.16, dated 12.02.2020, registered at Police Station Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur, under Section 420 IPC (P-1) on the basis of compromise (P-2). Pursuant to order dated 18.12.2020, report dated 01.02.2021 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Mukerian, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them without any pressure or coercion.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.16, dated 12.02.2020, registered at Police Station Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur, under Section 420 IPC (P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
