The injured - victim is in appeal seeking enhancement of compensation awarded by the Tribunal in regard to injuries sustained by him in a motor vehicular accident that took place on 06.12.2014. The Tribunal awarded an amount of Rs.17,033/- under the following heads:- 1.
Medical expenses Rs.2,033/- 2.
Pain and suffering Rs.15,000/- Total Rs.17,033/- Counsel for the appellant has submitted that compensation awarded by the Tribunal needs enhancement.
I have heard counsel for the appellant and perused the paperbook particularly the award passed by the Tribunal. The sweeping contention raised by counsel for the appellant is not sufficient to justify enhancement of compensation, in absence of counsel pointing out any materials to form the basis for enhancement of compensation.
