(ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.64 dated 22.07.2023, registered at Police Station Badali Alla Singh, District Fatehgarh Sahib, under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC.

Vide order dated 21.08.2023 passed by this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the petitioner has joined the investigation. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Harbans Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not required for any further investigation.

CRM-M-40703-2023 (O&M) -2In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 21.08.2023 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

At this stage, learned counsel for the complainant submits that in the petitions filed by co-accused, namely, Gurcharan Singh and Sukhdev Singh @ Mani,for anticipatory bail, they have been directed to appear before the Medication and Conciliation Centre of this Court, for exploring the chances of amicable settlement and the case before the Mediator is fixed for 29.09.2023.

With no objection from the learned counsel for the petitioner, the parties herein are also directed to appear before the Medication and Conciliation of this Court on 29.09.2023, for exploring the chances of amicable settlement.
