RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Section 528 Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 praying to direct respondent Nos.1 to 4 to arrest respondent No.5 (proprietor of M/s Jindal Polypack) a proclaimed person and produce him before the Court to face trial in criminal complaint No.41306 of 2022, dated 09.06.2022, under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act (Police Station Division No.3, Ludhiana), which was disposed of by the Court of JMIC, Ludhiana, in which he was declared proclaimed person vide order, dated 15.12.2023, Annexure P-3, and the police is not arresting him despite the petitioner having represented the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, vide representation, dated 02.04.2024, Annexure P-4.

Heard.

Admittedly respondent No.5 has already been declared as proclaimed person. Hence, it is the duty of the police authorities to proceed MEENU 2024.08.14 18:59 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
