The petitioners have approached this Court impugning acquisition of land invoking the provisions of Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (for short 'the 2013 Act'). The plea raised was that the amount of compensation has not been paid to the petitioners. Learned counsel for the State referred to the facts noticed in the impugned order by the authority wherein it has been specifically mentioned that on account of dispute regarding apportionment of compensation, the amount was deposited in Court on 28.06.2013 under Section 30 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

Considering the aforesaid facts, we do not find that any case for interference is made out under Section 24(2) of the 2013 Act. Writ petition is dismissed.
